How To Create A Header For Your Blog
This particular post is much easier shown than typed. But for those of you who just want to know NOW how to create a header for your blogs or websites, then here is the skinny: It can be accomplished with a combination of Canva.com and Pixlr.com.
Now I am a graphic designer so most often than not I use my professional design tools to create my banners and images. However, if you are not in the business of graphic design then it makes zero sense for you to purchase those. We are talking they are in the neighborhood of $1500+, or now a days you can actually get an Adobe Creative Cloud account for maybe $30$50/mo and access a myriad of design software. But again, not necessary and a much steeper learning curve than you need to go through to get your blog banners done.
In this short video below I am going to show you how to create awesome headers and banners for your blog absolutely free (except for any royalty free images you may want to add).
In a nutshell, we are going to create the header for your blog in Canva using their text treatments and any images you want (from your computer). Then we will save that creation to your hard drive and IMPORT it into Pixlr Editor in order to crop it to the right size for your blog. Check it out:
